Why fund us

Your grant goes further here

The people who deliver our work are volunteers from the community it serves. Funding pays for the space, the equipment and the essentials; our community brings the time and care.

  • Volunteer-powered

60 volunteers give more than 600 hours every week, from Friday socials to summer camps.

  • Rooted in local families

Around 150 families take part, with 120–150 people through our doors every week.

  • Safe and well governed

A board of eight, a named Designated Safeguarding Lead and deputy, and eight published policies.

  • Clear costs, protected assets

We publish our running costs, and a statutory asset lock keeps our assets and any surplus working for the community.

Financial controls

How we look after money

Our Financial Policy sets out these controls. They apply to every grant, donation and payment.

  • Two authorised signatories, who are not related to each other
  • Every payment over £1,500 needs both signatories
  • Cash is always counted by two people
  • Restricted grant funds are tracked separately and spent only on what they were given for
  • Zakat is kept separate and never used for running costs

Revive Community Centre CIC is not a registered charity, so we cannot claim Gift Aid on donations. Every donation goes to our community work, protected by our asset lock.
